- The
National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) National
Human Rights Commission (NHRC) was established on
26 May 2000 for the effective protection and promotion
of Human Rights of the people of Nepal as conferred
by the Constitution of the Kingdom of Nepal 1990,
other prevailing laws of the land, NHRC Act, international
Human Rights (HR) Instruments, and on the basis of
recognized principles of justice.
